Highest Mountain of Southeast Asia – Hkakabo Razi

Hkakabo Razi (ခါကာဘိုရာဇီ) is Myanmar’s highest mountain, and with its height of 5,881 metres (19,295 ft) the probable highest mountain in South East Asia. The mountain is an extension of the Eastern Himalayas. The first recorded attempt at the peak was made in 1995 by Takashai Ozaki, from Japan. He failed due to persistent bad weather.
