The Shwedagon Pagoda, also known as the Golden Pagoda, is a 98-metre (approx. 321.5 feet) gilded stupa located in Yangon, a former capital of Myanmar. It is over 2,600 years old, the pagoda is the most sacred Buddhist monument defining Myanmar culture today. This place is absolutely brilliant.
